Family Finds and Consign is a small consignment shop in Taberg, New York. This page explains what we collect when you use this website and what we do with it. It’s short, because we don’t collect much.

When you send us a message

The contact form asks for your name, your email address, and your message. That goes straight to our shop inbox as an email, sent through a service called Resend that delivers it for us. We don’t store it in a database and we don’t add you to a mailing list. We keep it the way we keep any other email, and we use it to write you back.

When you browse the site

The photos in our gallery are pictures of furniture, dishes, and other items in the shop. They’re stored with Vercel, the company that hosts this website.

Vercel also gives us basic traffic numbers: which pages get looked at, roughly what part of the country visitors come from, and whether they’re on a phone or a computer. It’s counted in aggregate and none of it identifies you. There’s no cookie behind it, which is why this site has no cookie banner.

The one cookie this site does set is the login cookie for the private admin page where we post new items. If you aren’t logging in there, you aren’t getting a cookie from us.

Text message alerts

If you text our keyword to join our new arrivals alerts, we collect your mobile number and the date you joined. We use it only to send you the alerts described on our SMS opt-in page, up to 10 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We use a third party messaging provider to deliver the messages. That provider processes your number only in order to deliver our messages and is not permitted to use it for its own marketing.

Reply STOP to any message to be removed. We delete numbers that have replied STOP from the sending list and keep a record of the opt out only as long as needed to honor it.
